Cisco announced new examinations and updated recertification requirements, and created the brand new Cisco DevNet certification. All exam and regulation revisions became effective on February 24, 2020.<\/p>\n

The SPAUTO 300-535 exam, Automating and Programming Cisco Service Provider Solutions, is a DevNet Professional specialization test. As previously stated, you must pass the Cisco DEVCOR 350-901 exam<\/a><\/strong><\/em> and one of the eight DevNet Professional concentration exams to become a DevNet Professional.<\/p>\n

Topics or Objectives of the SPAUTO Exam<\/h2>\n

The Cisco SPAUTO 300-535 exam<\/a><\/strong><\/em> topics are divided into four categories. According to my research of the official SPAUTO exam blueprint, 45% of the exam topics in the blueprint are theoretical, while the remaining 55% need some hands-on involvement.<\/p>\n

    This section discusses YANG data models, HTTP authentication procedures, data types, the YANG model with JSON and XML, Python, and the RESTCONF and NETCONF protocols. Around 33% of the content in this part is theoretical, while 66% is practical.<\/p>\n

    Network Device Programmability<\/h3>\n

    This section contains information about network fundamentals such as the ncclient, NETCONF with YDK, NetMiko, and Ansible playbooks. Around 13% of the content in this section is theoretical, while the remaining 87% is practical.<\/p>\n

    This section discusses the ETSI NFV standard, the benefits and design of NSO, the RESTCONF APIs for NSO, the Cisco ESC, XR traffic controller, and Cisco WAE, creating a service template with NSO, and delivering a service package with NSO. Around 33% of the content in this part is theoretical, while 66% is practical.<\/p>\n

    Cisco DevNet Professional Concentration Exams<\/h2>\n
